Welcome!

About our Parish (Population: c. 20,000)

Sale is a dormitory town to Manchester. There are some local businesses; but many who live here work in the wider North West, making use of the great transport links. Our Parish is tasked with engaging the local communities with the reality of God’s mission. It’s a great vocation and one we seek to live up to, by God’s grace, with joy, humour and love.

We have two Churches: St Anne’s, in the centre of the Parish (off Northenden Road), and St Francis’, in the centre of Sale Moor estate.

Sale: St Anne:
St Anne’s Church, Sale, serves the people of Sale and Sale Moor. We are a largish, friendly Anglican Church with a variety of worship styles. Style of worship: ‘central’. We offer ministry for all ages during the week. For details, see “A Church Near You”.  We have a Church School which draws parents and pupils from across our town.

Sale: St Francis:
This Christian Community serves the people of Sale Moor. Although no longer used for regular Sunday worship, the Hall is used for a variety of local and community activities. For details, see “A Church Near You”.
